Certified Roofers & General Contractors, Inc. Celebrates Its 40-Year Anniversary

As a third generation family business of roofers, the company is celebrating 40 years of service this year. A tradition of caring for neighbors and continuing to work hard is at the heart of certified roofers.
Kathleen Carpenter, Marketing Manager at Certified Roofers & General Contractors, Inc., explained what sets the company apart.
“We are community-owned, family-owned and know the area well since the Sanchez’s started their roots here,” said Carpenter.
Certified Roofers & General Contractors, Inc. is a GAF Master Elite certified company founded in 1981. Prior to that, the family’s patriarch, Onidio Sanchez, embarked on his 40-year journey using his skills in building and remodeling homes. in 1965. He spent a lot of his career as a general contractor in the Tampa Bay area. He passed away in 2006. His son, Onidio Sanchez Jr., also had talents similar to himself, but focused on roofing.
Sanchez Jr. founded Certified Roofers & General Contractors, Inc. on. He died in 2015. Before he died, Sanchez Jr. and his son, Alex Sanchez, hand in hand for over ten years. Alex brought a new perspective to the business. This business model also still sticks to his father’s dream.
Employees serve FishHawk, Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, Tampa and surrounding communities. Services include roof repairs, roof replacements, storm damage repairs and more. Interested parties can receive a free quote. All are educated and educated.
