CleanChoice Energy now enrolling subscribers for 2-MW Maryland community solar project

CleanChoice energy, a cleantech company empowering people and businesses to access climate solutions, is accepting subscriptions for a 2 MW Dorchester County community solar project, Glassywing Solar. Once completed, the new community solar project will enable hundreds of Delmarva Power customers to support local jobs and environmental protection and strengthen community solar capacity while saving up to 10% on their energy bills.

“Delmarva customers can now save up to 10% on their energy bills while supporting local solar jobs, supporting pollinators’ habitats and reducing harmful pollution,” said Tom Matzzie, CEO of CleanChoice Energy. “Our goal is to make supporting renewable energy as easy as possible. With community solar energy, almost anyone with an energy bill can access the benefits of solar energy. “

To improve the environmental integrity of the project, Glassywing Solar also includes landscaping designed to provide food and habitat for local pollinators.

Standard solar energy will own and maintain the project. OneEnergy Renewablesinitiated, developed and authorized the Glassywing Solar project through its regional office in Washington DC.

Subscriptions are available to anyone who receives a Delmarva utility bill; Interested local residents can register today at:
