[This unedited press release is made available courtesy of Gamasutra and its partnership with notable game PR-related resource Games Press.]
Gamedust is announcing a free update for Yupitergrad, which will test your swing skills, unlock a 120 Hz mode for Oculus Quest 2 goggles, and bring many fixes and improvements.

Komrades, spring is in full swing! However, that doesn’t mean you can lounge in space booths anywhere around Jupiter’s rings. You need to roll up the sleeves of your jumpsuit and get to work. Next Challenges Updating with ten brand new levels in Time Attack mode are waiting for you from May 20th. Be careful though, because you will run into new obstacles and traps as you navigate the winding corridors!

Unorthodox but intriguing, Yupitergrad promises a space exploration package like no other.

Gaming Bolt

Because we were aware of this threat, we commissioned the Social Spaciety Institute for Space Innovation to develop many improvements and optimizations. The researchers were happy to tell us that 120Hz mode is unlocked in Oculus Quest 2! In addition to the technical news, we also add something for the Slavic soul that is present in each of us. As you head out to beat more records, you’ll hear new music that makes swinging through space travel even more energetic! What’s important, it update is free, as are meals in the company canteen (on presentation of a relevant letter from your supervisor) and available in Viveport, Steam and Oculus stores. The following challenges will come to PlayStation VR shortly after.

Yupitergrad is a game perfectly designed for VR and a great way to get yourself into physical activity.

The sixth axis

Yupitergrad is a uniquely crafted space VR game that will test your skill as you deftly traverse the trap-infested corridors of a space station. The game was received very warmly by gamers and reviewers, which is best reflected in the score on vrgamecritic based on 36 reviews – 75/100. Yupitergrad is available on Viveport, Steam, Oculus Store and PlayStation Store. A free version of Yupitergrad: Sneaki Peaki is available on Steam and SideQuest, including select Time Attack levels and a short tutorial version.

The simplicity of the game and the locomotion system appear to go well with virtual reality.

About Yupitergrad
It was an ordinary day in your life as a Slav cosmonaut. You went on a mission and wore your space tracksuit with three quality stripes. What could have gone wrong if you had been so thoroughly prepared?
Your job was to go to Jupiter base, test the new device, start the experiment to produce the fuel, and then return home with your space shuttle right after. Obviously, according to Murphy’s law, nothing went as planned as I remember everything was a tough climb for us Slavs. It couldn’t have been any different here. But it made us strong, amirite?

So kiss your babushka goodbye and become a space-traveling Indiana Jones. Meander through an industrial space station with grappling hooks and space boosters. See how acrobatics in space, zapping ledges and walls feels like. Experience a comrade’s perspective in space, arcade platforms and challenging riddles. All drenched in a gritty, completely Slavic, humorous story.
