Houston man wanted for allegedly stealing plumbing equipment from Spring homes

According to the sheriff’s office, Alexander Long, 31, of Houston is wanted for felony theft.
On May 5, reports emerged that an unidentified man wearing an orange reflective safety vest and driving a blue Nissan Altima stole backflow preventers from several homes in the Legends Ranch area in the spring, the sheriff’s office said.
Patrol representatives collected evidence, including video surveillance, from victims. Sheriff’s detectives traced the evidence to an address in Houston where the Altima was found. Evidence from the car led to Long being identified as the alleged perpetrator, the sheriff’s office said.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Long, the sheriff’s office noted.
