Calhoun, Ga.—Mannington Commercial’s mobile showroom is on a 13-week tour through October 27 to destinations across the country where customers can safely discover new flooring designs, technologies and solutions for their projects. The mobile showroom, a 44-foot truck custom-fitted with Mannington Commercial products, will travel to more than 30 cities across the U.S.
The tour kicked off in Boston on July 26 and has already made stops in New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Nashville, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and more. Customers were able to view Mannington’s latest product introductions and connect with other professionals in their local market. Stops included breweries, Top Golf, and with commercial flooring dealers.
“The mobile showroom is a great way for people to re-engage with the Mannington Commercial brand personally, which is about putting customers first and finding solutions for them,” said Tom Pendley, president of Mannington Commercial . “We are an American-based company that prides itself on American manufacturing, so it makes sense that we travel the country to showcase our Made in USA spirit. Not only do we bring our new products to the attention of our customers, but we do it in a way to meet them where they are, at their current comfort level.”
According to the company, the mobile showroom in each location will provide different experiences and events based on the needs of the market, while making it easy, safe and accessible for designers, dealers, installers and other partners to experience the Mannington Commercial brand. Local Mannington Commercial representatives can meet to discuss future projects, industry trends and challenges at events ranging from a catered breakfast or lunch to happy hours after work. One-on-one conversations are also only possible by appointment.
The mobile showroom showcases Mannington Commercial’s comprehensive product solutions and allows customers to view a wide selection of hard and soft flooring products, such as Mannington Commercial’s Legato Liquid Linoleum, which combines the benefits of traditional linoleum and vinyl sheet to Swell, a modular carpet purposely designed to bring balance and harmony to the workplace and education. Customers can also view and order samples. The truck will follow current local COVID-19 protocols en route and will use UV lamps to clean and disinfect.
In addition, Mannington Commercial said it invites everyone to follow the journey on Instagram and participate in the weekly $500 Getaway House gift card. Visitors to mobile showrooms, designers and floor contractors can enter by @mannington.commercial and themselves in the mobile showroom with #manningtononthemove. Those unable to visit the mobile showroom in person can enter by posting their favorite project using the Mannington Commercial product and tagging it on Instagram.
