The international rock drilling equipment manufacturer Mincon brings a range of: compact modular drilling mast and drilling rig systems that complement the company’s existing solutions.
In addition to targeting existing mining, quarrying, construction, water and geothermal wells markets, Mincon’s new Rock Drill package solutions will also be tailored for customers in the solar installation market.
“The introduction of these modular systems is a major step forward for Mincon, enabling new customers to affordably enter the rock drilling industry and benefit from the performance and efficiency of our industry-leading solutions,” said Joe Purcell, CEO of Mincon Group.
Mincon’s new Rock Drill mast attachments give drillers entry into the market by adding a Mincon drilling solution to their existing equipment, be it an excavator, skid steer loader or any other compatible machine. Mincon’s stand-alone rigs in the Rock Drill range are self-propelled systems for customers looking to expand their fleet with specialty drilling solutions that have a smaller footprint than conventional rigs.
Rock Drill’s full product line consists of three drill rigs and five drill mast attachments. The R405, R412, R512 drill rigs use less than 90 horsepower power and are compatible with 3 inch, 5 inch and 10 inch drill rods respectively.
Simon Duck, Senior Engineer, Integrated Systems, Mincon Group, said:
“As drilling machines, our engineering philosophy has always been focused on the needs of the end user: equipment that is easy to use, with low maintenance costs and uses ready-made parts. Our goal was to incorporate innovative simplicity into our solutions, ultimately making them stronger and longer lasting.”
