OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – 6 The news just learned that an Omaha-based roofing company is now operating from the Better business desk.
WOWT’s Mike McKnight reported a few weeks ago that Xcel Roofing left some customers with thousands of dollars. The BBB says the owner has given permission to refer issues to his credit and debt counseling company.
The agency has canceled the accreditation for Xcel.
“The company continues to work with its local banking team to explore how best to respond to the needs of its current customers. That is the current only focus. It has suspended future operations for the time being. At this point, it has not made a decision on plans to reopen in the near future. “
