Austrian mounting systems supplier Aerocompact has unveiled three slide-seam clamps that it claims will apply to framed solar panels of any length and width.

The manufacturer said the clamps have received Conformité Européenne (CE) certification, a regulatory standard that verifies that certain products are safe for sale and use in the European Economic Area (EEA), and can be used without going through the roof. need to go on almost all types of seam sheet roofs.

The system-wide universal clamp is adjustable in height.

“The models TMRD08, TMK1508 and TMK2008 can be installed on roofs made of artisanal seam sheets or roofs made of industrial system seam sheets made of coated steel, aluminum and other materials,” says the Austrian company. “They are also suitable for copper roofs, with the optional stainless steel saddle, as the attachment prevents the aluminum clamps from reacting with the copper and corroding.”

The manufacturer explained that the height of the clamps can be adjusted between 30 and 46 mm and that the clamp can be clicked into the connection profile of the standing zoom clamp or into a rail system when mounted in portrait mode. “Thanks to the new sliding seam clamps, we are completing our product family,” says Aerocompact CTO, Christian Ganahl. “The current range of standing seam clamps includes double seam clamps, corner and snap seam clamps and round seam clamps.”

The new products come with a 25-year warranty and can withstand wind loads of approximately 220 km/h and snow loads of more than 3 kilonewtons/m.2.
