SnapNrack’s rail-less solar roof mount first to receive Miami-Dade product approval

SnapNrack has earned Miami-Dade County’s Notice of Acceptance (NOA) from integrated flashing technology with its SpeedSeal sunroof mounts and the RL Universal Roof Mount System is the first and only roofless roof mount to receive NOA approval.

Solar panel manufacturer SnapNrack earned Miami-Dade County, Florida’s Notice of Acceptance (NOA) for integrated flashing technology for its SPeedSeal roof mounts, making the RL Universal Roof Mount system the first railless roof mount with NOA approval.

Miami-Dade County has the most stringent construction requirements in the country, regulating specific construction products as part of the NOA process, due to the region’s extreme weather conditions due to annual hurricanes.

An NOA covers both structural engineering and water ingress within a single approval, eliminating the need for site-specific stamped engineering and streamlining the permit process. Authority with jurisdictions in surrounding areas accepts the NOA for its product approval standards.
