Swinerton selects Ingeteam inverters for 350 MW of California solar projects
Ingeteam has supplied 350 MW of solar inverters for two California solar projects being built by Swinerton Renewable Energy.
CIM Group’s Aquamarine Westside photovoltaic solar power plant is located in Kings County and is rated at 250 MW. The High Desert solar PV plant (100 MW) is located in San Bernardino County.
For these two projects, Ingeteam provided its power plant solution, which integrates a 3.28 MW solar PV inverter, a pad mounted medium voltage transformer, an emergency services transformer and a low voltage panel. Ingeteam has fully commissioned High Desert, while the Aquamarine commissioning is still in progress.
“We are excited and grateful to be working hand in hand with Swinerton Renewable Energy on these two utility scale projects. This is another testament to the recognition and trust bestowed upon us by one of the top EPC companies in the country,” said Nohra Nasr, VP and General Manager of Solar PV and BESS at Ingeteam. “We remain focused and committed to serving and supporting the renewable energy market with the goal of achieving a clean and sustainable environment.”
