Manteca, California—BR Funsten and Tom Duffy Company have unveiled a brand consolidation, distinctive new logo and corporate identity. Called the Tom Duffy Company, the flooring wholesaler said it combines decades of experience, technical expertise and an impressive portfolio of supplier partners from two entities into one.
“We merged the previous BR Funsten and Tom Duffy Company logos into a new identity with a more modern look that reflects our story,” said Donna Lagano, vice president of marketing and digital strategy. Tom Duffy Company will now be identified in the updated logo as “a BR Funsten Company.
According to Anne Funsten, president, a unified corporate structure allows us to sharpen our operational, storage and trucking efficiencies, helps accelerate our digital transformation plans, and fosters a collaborative corporate culture. While our corporate identity has undergone a major transformation, our core values have not.”
Tom Duffy Company said it will also focus on its continued growth in the hard surface and waterproof flooring categories. “We are well positioned for revenue growth in residential flooring by partnering with manufacturers and importers who drive innovation in the hard surface and waterproof flooring categories,” said Scott Bertram, vice president of residential sales.
While the BR Funsten Company name will become a back seat to the bearer of brand equity, the Funsten family said they still have decisive leadership over day-to-day operations and long-term strategic planning, led by Anne Funsten.
